This week in Parch Linux

What’s New?


In this week we had some changes in Parch Linux isos, fixing some problems and also adding new features.

Microcode Changes:

In the last month Arch Linux Changed how mkinitcpio generates microcodes resulting in non-bootable images.


as you can see this is the difference between an old and a new ParchLinux iso:

This issue fixed in this commit.


Compatibility mode:

In the latest parchiso profile we had added Compatibility mode, which runs Parch Linux with nomodset flags on systems.


Net Installer

we are working on a net installer version of Parch with calamares installer.


in this version you select the applications and it would start the installation, like other distros featuring this installation.
